Shipping Policy
Delivery methods
We primarily ship via Canada Post. For expedited deliveries, we also use services like UPS or other carriers depending on availability.
Preparation and shipping times
Orders are prepared only during our business hours (Monday to Friday).
The shipment is made as soon as the order is ready, with collection by the carrier as soon as the order is opened the day after preparation.
Delivery times are provided for informational purposes only. Univers RC Loisirs cannot be held responsible for delays caused by carriers, postal services, or customs clearance procedures, particularly for international shipments.
Packaging and protection
The items are carefully packaged.
Small products are sent in reinforced soft envelopes, with internal padding to ensure their protection.
Larger or fragile items are packed in sturdy boxes with appropriate protection.
Delivery costs
Standard shipping costs are shown at checkout and vary depending on weight and destination. Standard shipping is free for orders of $100 or more before taxes.
For expedited delivery, additional charges apply. Available options with alternative carriers will be checked and communicated to the customer before shipment.
Restrictions
We primarily deliver to Quebec and Ontario. Certain remote areas, specific territories, or international destinations may be excluded or subject to additional charges.
Monitoring and communication
A tracking number is provided upon shipment to allow tracking of the order's delivery.
Univers RC Loisirs will inform the customer in case of significant delay or problem reported by the carrier.
Responsibility and risk transfer
Univers RC Loisirs' responsibility ends when the order is handed over to the carrier with a valid tracking number.
Any claim regarding loss, theft or damage must be reported within 7 days of receipt, with supporting photos.
Delays, blockages, seizures or fees imposed by carriers or customs authorities cannot give rise to a refund or cancellation.
International orders
Orders shipped outside of Canada may be subject to customs duties, local taxes (VAT), and import fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping costs and remain entirely the responsibility of the customer.
Any package refused or returned due to non-payment of these fees will not result in any refund of the product or shipping costs.
