Return and Refund Policy
At Univers RcLoisirs, customer satisfaction is one of our top priorities. We are committed to offering quality products along with transparent service that respects your rights.
1. Special Orders and Non-Refundable Deposits
Any item specially ordered at your request requires a non-refundable deposit at the time of purchase. Once the item arrives in store, you have 14 business days to pick up your purchase. After this period, the item will be returned to the supplier or placed back for sale, and the deposit will not be refunded.
2. Out-of-Stock Products – Reservation
If you place a deposit to reserve a product that is temporarily out of stock, it will automatically be set aside for you upon arrival. The balance must be paid at pickup within 14 business days following the availability notification.
3. No Exchange or Refund on:
Special orders; products reserved with a deposit; opened, damaged, or used items.
4. Defective Products
If a product is delivered damaged or not as described, please contact us within 7 days of receiving it. We will proceed with an exchange, refund, or repair as applicable, in accordance with consumer protection laws.
5. Liability During Transport
The seller’s responsibility extends until the product is handed over to the carrier, which includes proper and protective packaging. Once the parcel is handed to the carrier, the seller no longer has control over its handling. Therefore, damages occurring during transport generally fall under the carrier’s responsibility. It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect the parcel upon receipt and report any anomaly or damage promptly to allow a claim to be filed with the carrier.
6. Return Fees (if applicable)
Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, except in cases of an error on our part or a defective product. For returns based solely on personal preference, all return fees remain the customer’s responsibility.
7. Return Procedure
To return a product, please contact our customer service at info@urcloisirs.com or 1-873-208-1050 within 7 days of receipt to obtain a return authorization. The product must be returned in its original condition, unused, and in its original packaging. Return costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error or a defect.
8. Condition of Returned Products
To be accepted, the product must be returned in its original condition, unused, complete, and with its original packaging intact.
9. Refund Processing Time
Once the product is received and inspected, the refund will be issued within 7 to 14 business days using the same payment method used for the purchase.
10. Exceptions and Special Cases
Some products cannot be returned, including hygiene items, personalized products, and downloadable content.
11. Liability During Return Shipping
Responsibility for the product is transferred to the customer once the carrier takes possession of the return parcel. We therefore recommend using a shipping method that includes tracking and insurance.
